아 ! 금원산은...소음이 너무 심하더라 !!!

명언을 멀리한채 우리나라에서 제일 거창한 도시 거창의 금원산을 찾았다.
태풍 지난 첫날이라 어찌나 수량이 풍부한지 초입 선녀담에 내리치는 물의 유혹
에 젖어... 멈칫하며 산행시작! 같은 숲 같은 길 개울건너 물건너 1시간 가량 걸었다. 지천에 깔린 딸기도 정신없이 따먹으면서 질펀한 길도 함께... 발밑졸졸
흐르는 물에 옷이 젖지않기위해 가끔 뒤뚱걸음과 지그재그걸음등으로 첨벙대면서... 계곡 물 소리는 이제 멎었다. 그러나 물기흠뻑 머금은 수림사이로 시각,청
각,후각의 형언할 수 없는 우리 산정인을 반기는 만족한 기쁨과 같은 희열의 기묘한 소리가 산의 여울인 듯 들려왔다. 이후부터는 직선의 가파른 길. 좀 힘이
들었다. 가픈 숨소리와 더불어 땀은 얼굴부터 온 몸으로 폭포처럼 흘러내린다...
"고난은 축복으로 통하는 지름길이라 했든가?" 정상은 결국 내 앞에 자리를 내
주었고 , 즐거히 정상조망 후 맛있게 점심 식사... 하산/ 30분정도 가파른 내리막길 번개같이 내달려 내려오니... 물소리가 작은계곡 2개에서 스테레오로 합창을
... 요란스럽기 시작했다. 이 자연의 소음을 미치도록 듣고 싶어서 이곳에 왔는데... 계곡물이 마치 올림픽 100M달리기 신기록을 세우려는 선수처럼 쏜살같이
힘껏 내달리고 있었다. 그것의 백미는 유안청 제 2폭포에서 부터 ... 하루전 태풍으로 인한 풍부한 수량땜에... 아... 폭포를 쳐다보는 자체만으로 시원해져 버렸
다. 여느폭포는 직선으로 서 있는데... 유안청폭포는 비스듬히 누워서 물줄기를 힘있게 뿜어내고 있었다. "누워서 떡먹는 것 처럼" 너무 힘들어 보여 안쓰러웠
다... 이태의 <남부군>에 "500여명의 남부군이 남녀부끄럼움도 잊고 옥같은 물속에 몸을 담그고 알몸으로 목욕했다."는 곳이 바로 여기란 말인가?
이후엔 포장도로와 맑은계곡,시원한 숲 그늘, 깨끗한공기등.. 어우러진 절경이 길따라 물따라 계속 펼쳐지고 있었으며, 세월의 영겁을 담은 윤기나는 큰 계곡
에 박힌 통바위는 묵묵히 자연의 힘에 순응하듯 그많은 물줄기를 힘껏 받아내고 있었다. 계곡의 끝자락에서 발씻고 머리 씻으니 아!'무릉도원'이 예가 아닌가
싶었다. 정상까지 이어진 수림과 이끼낀 산길- 태풍후 벌레 (하루살이,모기)등
한 마리 찾아볼수 없었고 다람쥐, 물새, 흰나비 등등과 ... 장중한 계곡미를 연
출하는 시끄러운 자연의 소음(계곡물소리)을 실컷 듣고 왔답니다.
또 가고 싶습니다.산행기회를 주신 산정산악회 집행부님 넘 고맙습니다.
